Biography

Central Park is a stunning five-piece band with a wealth of experience entertaining private, public and corporate audiences. Performing music from across the ages, this band is a must for all events and is certain to be a hit with audiences of all ages. Central Park first banded together in 2007 in the North East of England. Formed of a wealth of talent, they set about taking the entertainment circuit by storm, touring the entire country and amassing a large following. Central Park’s success is in no small part due to their incredible skill. Stacey Richardson fronts the band on lead vocals.

Her stunning voice and charismatic stage presence has featured in the band Unique and has seen her impress critics and fans alike. Stuart Bell, formerly of Juke Box Live, is a dynamic keyboardist, guitarist and vocalist that adds personality and drive to the band. Jonathan Hodgkiss provides the much-needed bass-line on bass guitar while Tony Emery takes the lead on the six-string. Tony is a famed guitarist who has been part of other illustrious bands such as The 6T’s, The Inspirations and The Source. Paul Lippeatt is a talented drummer and provides the beat to get your guests on the dancefloor.

The band is famous for their rock and pop covers and fans of their shows can expect to hear Whitney Houston’s ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’, Aerosmith’s "Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing", Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Go Your Own Way’, Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Dancing in the Dark’ and Kings of Leon’s ‘Sex On Fire’.

What’s more, Central Park enriches the experience with their own hit ‘A Different Day’, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Their own material has won them legions of fans and shows the bright future this band have. Central Park is hugely popular at corporate events and wedding receptions.
